1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Vibe Sensei, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service description

Vibe Sensei is a learning tool that connects to your GitHub account, analyzes commit diffs from repositories you select, and generates flashcards and coding challenges using AI. The service is provided as-is and is intended for personal, educational use.

3. Account and access

  • Authentication is handled via GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account.
  • You must not share your account or use the service on behalf of others without their consent.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to analyze code you do not have the right to access.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or abuse the service in ways that degrade performance for other users.
  • Use automated scripts to artificially inflate usage metrics to circumvent plan limits.

5. Plans and billing

  • A free plan is available with monthly generation limits as described on the pricing page.
  • Premium plans are billed monthly via Lemon Squeezy. Prices are displayed at checkout and may change with notice.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from the settings page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months, except where required by law.

6. AI-generated content

Flashcards and challenges are generated by AI (Google Gemini) and may contain errors or inaccuracies. They are intended as learning aids, not authoritative references. You are responsible for verifying the correctness of any generated content before applying it in production code or professional contexts.

7. Intellectual property

You retain full ownership of your code and commits. By using the service, you grant Vibe Sensei a limited, non-exclusive right to process your commit diffs solely to generate educational content for you. We do not store, share or train models on your code.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of AI-generated content, or fitness for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vibe Sensei shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruption, or errors in generated content.

9. Changes to the service or terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time. Material changes to these terms will be communicated via email or in-app notification with reasonable notice.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
